This page calculates how much of each chemical is needed to bring the water chemistry of your pool or spa to the ideal balance. The calculator is based on ideal levels of Cyanuric Acid (stabilizer) and TA (Total Alkalinity). If you are unaware of these critical values in your pool or spa, be sure to take a water sample to your nearest pool or spa retailer to make sure the correct levels are present. Cyanuric acid and Total alkalinity should be checked monthly. More info can be found in the FAQ section of this website.
